RARE and IMPORTANT 18th century spoon rack. We attribute this prized piece to Bergen County, NJ to the Hudson River Valley area. In the lower corners are the initials N and T and please note the N is backwards which is so often seen on early items. Being made of native pine, it remains in a high state of untouched color and surface. With fine chipped carved rails and a large number of skillfully carved pinwheels, there isn't an ounce of space that hasn't been touched. Dimensions: 18.75 x 8.25 x 2.5. Late 19th century tantalus with its original three bottles in excellent original untouched condition. Size: 14W x 13T x 5D. From a Massachusetts collection. Inventory number 24-923.

A late 20th century mocha bowl of unusual design by Don Carpentier. It's signed on the bottom and remains in excellent condition. Size: 7.5 diameter, 3.5 deep. Inventory number 25-180.

Make-do wall paper covered box. Originally a single fingered lapped fig box which at some point lost its original cover but then was kept into use with a beautifully hand stitched make-do wallpaper cover from the 19th century. Every now and then you come across an item that just stops your heart when you hold it in your hand. This is one of those items. Size: 3.5 x 2.5 Inventory number 25-227.

Small wallpaper covered dome top box. There are some areas of loss, but overall it's in very good condition considering how very fragile and delicate these are and can be. The leather hinges are intact but in very fragile condition. Size: 5 x 2.75 x 2.75. Inventory number 24-555.

A small 19th century tombstone shaped wall box. All square nailed construction in its original soft blue paint. Holes were drilled in its bottom board which has us stumped for a reason. A first thought was possibly for drainage, but there are no signs it was ever used as a planter so the mystery remains. Size: 12.5 x 8.5 x 8. Inventory number 25-195.

A smaller sized wooden steering wheel possibly from a smaller sized sailboat. It has a very attractive soft toned color and surface which is further enhanced with a cleverly made custom metal stand. Perfect on a window sill or wherever. Size: 24" diameter, 24" tall. c1900-1920. Inventory number 25-201.

A fine 19th century New England whale oil onion lantern. I'm fussy when I buy lanterns to make sure they have their original burners and globes in perfect condition. This one met that criteria. Size: 11.5' tall with 5.25" clear glass globe. Inventory number 25-203.

Miniature chickadee carving by noted Maine carver Maurice "Jake" Day, 1892-1983, Damariscotta, Maine. Day was an American artist, carver, photographer, naturist and illustrator and most famous for being the creator of Bambi for Walt Disney Studios in the 1940s. Signed verso. Excellent original condition. Size: 3.5" long. Inventory number 25-202A.

A 19th century sailormade whale bone jagging wheel with a fork. A very impressive design and skillfully carved. These were made by sailors on long journeys as love gifts to sweethearts back home. Size: 7.75" long with a 2.125 " wheel. Inventory number 25-206.

A very charming early 20th century OOB painting of three adorable yellow cats. If you're a cat lover as we are, these should find their way to your heart in a very short time. A few trivial spots of touch up, but overall in fine condition. Size: 19 x 15 in its original frame with later black paint. Inventory number 25-220.

A very fine late 19th century OOB still life painting in its original frame. There is an illegible signature in the lower right corner plus a date of 1883 or 1889. The artist skillfully incorporated and arranged a variety of fruits including a cantaloupe, several bunches of grapes of different colors, peaches and apples. If you have been searching for a better than average still life, this example may be exactly what you've been looking for. Dimensions: 30 x 24 overall. Inventory number 25-214.

A wonderful mid-century heavy gauge wire garden bench with a nautilus theme and design. Excellent condition and very sturdy. It measures 40" tall, 51" wide, 16" deep and sits two comfortably. Inventory number 25-198.

A mid 19th century paint decorated dome top storage box. The current decoration done in the 19th century is over its original blue and remains in very good unscathed condition with expected use and wear. Size: 18 x 9.5 x 8.5 Inventory number 25-84.

A mid-century handmade clam basket with its original salmon paint. According to an impression stamped on one of its end boards, it was made for a 1/8th bushel capacity and is also signed and dated. It has survived well and remains in very good structural condition. Size: 11 x 9 x 10. Inventory number 25-193.

A very unusual handmade wagon chock with exceptional iron work. The added iron points made certain there would be no slipping when in use. I'm always fascinated when I come across items I've never seen before. This surely met that criteria. Perfect for a "Man Cave". Inventory number 25-192

An early 20th century southern jug, possibly from North Carolina. I found this at a show recently and couldn't walk past its fine color and unusual glazed surface. It measures 11.5' tall and remains issue free. Inventory number 25-221
