Exceptionally nice
19th century strap handle open top pantry box. With fine
construction and copper tacks it has the hallmarks of being Shaker
made. Excellent condition with untouched original paint. Size: 13
inches in diameter. 6.25 inches deep. 13 inches to its handle.

Late 19th or very
early 20th century sheet iron horse weathervane on stand. The
maker of this very special vane wanted to be certain its lively and
spirited form would be a joy for all to see. Most of its paint
has disappeared from exposure, but traces remain throughout. We're
quite confidant to say it originated and was used in New England.

19th century American eagle flag pole topper with its original rope
pulley. Wonderful form with a marvelous color and surface
measuring 16 inches tall having a 7 inch wing span. Offered on a
custom metal base for visual presentation and display.

Nicely done. Very good condition with a slight water stain along the
bottom edge near the frame. Framed in a period frame under early

leather fire bucket showing a curved banner with the name Morning
Star over a small oval with No. 7. The handles are original
and intact. It stands straight and upright and has a strong visual
appeal. Size: 13 inches tall, 18.5 to the handle. It has a 9 inch
diameter. Excellent overall condition.

19th century
elaborately punched tin lantern with glass sides and a single candle
pricket. I've taken several images of this lantern to not
only show its form, but that of its skillfully punched and exuberant
decoration. We think the sun rays, crescent moon and stars make it
quite special and highly desirable. It's in perfect condition with
the exception of one glass pane on its side panel which has a very
old crack. Size: 19 x 11 x 6. French, c1850-60.

An impressive pair of
19th century, hand carved and painted hearse curtains.
Beautifully carved with deep detailing and remaining in untouched
and original weathered condition. Each measures 36 x 16.

half round urn finials is their original grayish/green painted color

Capt. James
Keating open face diorama. Little is known of Keating except
it's quite obvious he had a love of the sea and for sale boats. This
example is signed verso in pencil, James Keating, Reading, Mass plus
the name "Alert", which identifies the name of the sailboat. His
dioramas were all constructed on a piece of old wallboard with hand
carved boats and sails. It retains its original frame which measures
14.5 x 10.75 c1930

Large, 19th century,
24 inch fireman's parade trumpet/horn. Densely engraved with
a fire pumper, crossed ladders and other fire related motifs plus a
meandering border surrounding its rim. The eagle heads that hold the
braided sash are a nice touch making it just that much more special.
Very good original condition with a replaced sash.

mid-19th century sailor-made ditty box. Intricately carved
with nautical and patriotic themes on all 5 sides including eagles,
anchors, harp, American shields, several stars, hearts, arrows and
viney decors. Some minor losses commensurate with use, but overall
in very fine condition. In its interior rests a small tray with
scalloped edges with an applied paper of a woman in period attire

dog on a sheet copper panel. We're guessing this dates from
the 1920s and has survived untouched and original in every way with

well-defined portrait in a home setting depicts a mother lovingly
supporting her child while he/she holds a small rattle. A well done
